This is the email form your players will receive from you directly in the body of an email message if you choose, or you can print the forms and hand them out manually. The graphic on the left is a screenshot of a MS Outlook mail message body. It looks identical to the printed player forms. Border colors may vary depending on the system configuration. In NFL Pool 2006 you click a menu named “Email Player Pick Forms” and the form is created in memory and copied to the system clipboard. A pre-addressed blank mail message is the displayed on the screen. All you have to do then is right click in the message body and select paste from the popup menu to paste the pre-formatted pick sheet for the current week into the message body. Everything you see in the photo was automatically created by NFL Pool. A simple paste operation puts it into the email message body. The cells are editable so the user can enter his or her name, picks and tie break points and send it back to you via email for manual entry into the NFL Pool application. Although NFL Pool does not use point spreads, you can enter spread information in the cell with team names just for informational purposes to your players if you want... Oakland +7, etc... The Contacts database stores information about the players including the email addresses used to populate the mail message recipient field (Outlook full) when sending pick forms using email. When using the full version of Outlook the entire mail message is configured for you. All you have to do is paste the form into the body and click “Send”. In fact, the Contacts database is the only other window in the entire application!. Navigate? Not in NFL Pool 2006... |
